Whole-day visit for Year 7 and Year 8
A whole-day visit to learn about John Wesley’s role in the campaign to end slavery:
– Visit John Wesley’s 18th century house to learn about the role of enslaved people in the production of goods popular with Londoners at the time.
– Find out what Wesley did and some key figures he worked alongside in the fight to abolish the slave trade, through some important artefacts in the museum.
– Learn about John Wesley’s final letter and try writing with a quill.

Please note that part of this session takes place in John Wesley’s House, which has a steep staircase and no lift access.
